To iMac G4 ήταν ο διάδοχος του iMac G3. Ο συνδυασμός οθόνης TFT και του ημισφαιρικού σχήματος, θύμιζαν λουλούδι. Αρχικά κυκλοφόρησε με οθόνη 15’’, όμως επόμενα μοντέλα υποστήριξαν μέχρι 20’’. Σημείωσε σημαντκή εμπορική επιτυχία.

The iMac G4 replaced the iMac G3. It was not a simple CPU upgrade but a complete redesign of the computer, moving the entire line to TFT screens. It was first released with a 15’’ monitor, but newer models supported up to 20’’ displays.
