To Amiga 4000 ήταν η συνέχεια του A3000, με παρόμοιο σχεδιασμό αλλά με σημαντικές νέες δυνατότητες στα γραφικά. Αυτό ήταν αποτέλεσμα της χρήσης των ολοκληρωμένων κυκλώμάτων AGA (Advanced Graphics Architecture).

The Amiga 4000 was similar in design with the A3000 but with significantly enhanced graphics. This enhancement was the result of the new AGA (Advanced Graphics Architecture) chipset.
